Anybody do any biking / mountain biking?

I pulled the old Cannondale out of storage last week and dusted her off. I plan to do some riding around the neighborhood to build up my stamina again and then go hit some local trails.

Anybody else into biking or want to get into biking? Afterall, misery loves company... :bike:

I have recently started biking with a friend. I'm still building up strength but we are planning on hitting up Alafia River State Park eventually and doing some of the trails there. Right now we just head out and ride for about 10 miles. But 10 miles of streets are a lot different then trails so it will probably be a while before im ready for anything serious. :burnout:

I do a 14 mile loop down Bayshore Blvd. Come ride with me sometime. The scenery is fantastic. (wink wink) :banana::flash:

I didn't know you rode. I'll have to bring my bike down there some for a ride.

Back in college I used to go downtown at night and race my friends down the parking garages and rip through the hood trying not to get mugged or shot. Those were the days... :lol:

Rick (FZ1) goes MB riding all the time. I got to warn you though, that guy will ride all day. I rode with him once and I thought I was going to die.

if any of you go. look for the group of guys that don't fit in at all, wearing skater helmets, no spandex and bombing down the biggest trails there on a 60$ huffy and laughing at the spandex guys with $5k bikes. that take the easy stuff.



its great times. someone crashes every time we go. I have as much, if not more fun there than on a north run and no cops to worry about.

HAHAHAHAHA - we used to roller skate down those SAME Parking garages!!! That crap was fun except for the road rash that I STILL own!
