Had to take pic of the bike in the truck on the way. The tailgate extender is my ramp also. Pretty trick I must say.

Well I got to my uncles plase outside Roanoke, Va. no problem. Well we get up and got ready to roll out. Of course a long day of ridin deserves a breakfest stop at the local Cracker Barrel.

Well after some of this we were getting hungry for some lunch. Quint little places up there in remote locations.

Lunch was pretty awesome in Fancy Gap just off the Blue Ridge. Time to mosey on to meet up with some buds down from New York. Well we stopped and waited for them to get up here from Ashville. They were running the Dragon and the Cherhola the day before. We got there a few minutes early and waited.

Well we road the Blue Ridge north for the rest of the afternoon. Of course had to stop and take a break.

Well they got a hotel before heading back to New York. So my uncle and I went back home.

Well sunday was a fun day also. We went into high country to ride. I had a close call with a deer up there. If the deer hadn't stumbled in a ditch we would have certianly met face to face. That would surely have ruined my weekend. Here are somemore roads that we got to ride.

Well now this next one. Let me just say that after I took the picture. I was with the program going thru this and the rest of the way down the mountain.

Well all in all I rode 600 miles between Saturday and Sunday. Yes my ass was hurtin some. This was our last stop before we made it back home for me to load up.

Well that's all folks. I was surely thinkg of you all ridin the flat lands while I was up there. So I made it a point to stop and take some pics just to share my adventure with ya all. Till the next time. See ya all real soon.

hows the Max running in the thin air?

Actually I was a bit nervous about that. Since the stage 7 jet kit is tuned for sea level and our climate. The bike ran great at 3500 ft. No stumbles or hesitations anywhere. And I used the whole rpm band in some places. Even the top gear roll ons felt great when on the highway at 70. When I was on the Blue Ridge. I was setting the pace at 55 using top gear and just rolling the throttle on and off. I would say that I did an awesome job with tuning this thing. My secret for V-Max tuning.
